Mission: Wayland Area Christian Neighbors Food Pantry, Inc. is committed to distributing purchase and/or donated food to qualified needy families in the Wayland Michigan area.

Vision: The Wayland Area Christian Neighbors Food Pantry, Inc. will enhance the lives of individuals and families through the food distribution program.

Description:
The pantry is supported by the participating churches, individuals and locally sponsored events. Monetary donations are used to purchase food that supplements the donated items and our utilities.

The pantry serves clients from Bradley, Dorr, Hopkins, Moline, Wayland and the surrounding areas of the northeast section of Allegan County.

Clients that meet our financial guidelines and reside in the area may receive assistance once a month or more often if referred by a local pastor.

The pantry is open on Tuesdays 9-12pm, 1-3pm and 5-7pm. We also assist people in need by emergency basis by contacting the executive director.

History:
On November 17th, 1991, the food pantry opened up. The pantry was formed by a few local churches and operated out of a small building on South Main Street in Wayland.

The Wayland Area Christian Neighbors Food Pantry is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. We are governed by a board of directors comprised of two representatives from each of six local churches. An executive director and volunteers operate the pantry on a weekly basis.
