We provide compassionate care at the end of life and support through the grief experience for individuals and families in Allegan County and surrounding communities.

Description:
Wings of Hope Hospice provides compassionate, holistic, comfort-oriented care at the end of life for individuals and their families in Allegan County and surrounding communities. We work with the physician to help the patient experience the best possible quality of life. The Grief Support program serves anyone in the community grieving the loss of a loved one, even if that person was not a patient of Wings. The GAPS (Giving Assistance, Providing Support) program promotes the independence of individuals with chronic illness by helping with chores and running errands. There are no out of pocket expenses for any Wings program.

History:
Wings of Hope Hospice was formed in 1984 through the tireless efforts of community volunteers in Plainwell. We moved 16 years later to Allegan to locate more centrally in the county. In April of 2007 we purchased the building we had leased since 2000 at 530 Linn Street across from the Allegan General Hospital. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
