The Volunteer Center is a program of the Allegan County United Way. Our services include assisting in recruiting and placing volunteers with non-profit agencies and organizations in Allegan County, offer volunteer management training opportunities to volunteer coordinators and recognize volunteers for their time and talents.
History:
The Allegan County United Way ... Incorporated in 1989 as Allegan County United Way In 1997 merged with United Way of Plainwell We serve the Allegan County Area Governed by a board of local volunteers representing the varied communities and businesses of the county. Allegan County United Way is an independent community resource. The communities we serve include Allegan, Bradley, Burnips, Dorr, Douglas, East Saugatuck, Fennville, Glenn, Grand Junction, Hamilton, Hopkins, Holland, Martin, Moline, New Richmond, Otsego, Plainwell, Pullman, Saugatuck, Shelbyville, and Wayland.
