Action for Hope USA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that vigorously works to improve the quality of life of impoverished children in the United States and abroad by providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to lift themselves out of poverty and become self-reliant, contributing members of their communities.
Description:
We establish safe homes for underprivileged children. In partnership with food producers, we provide vouchers to caregivers so that they can obtain necessary food supplies to feed them. We provide financial assistance and school supplies to support primary and secondary school education. We also support access to medical care through basic health services, dental care, prescription drugs, and required immunizations.
History:
A group of friends that deeply cares about children believes that every child deserves the basic necessities of life. They have a difficult time seeing and learning about the poor living conditions that some children are living in, therefore they decided to take action together with the generosity of supporters so that these poor children can have hope of improved living conditions. Taking action to save these children is the only way they can have hope. That is how we came up with the name Action for Hope (action = hope).
