CrossLink International provides medical resources for medical mission teams, missionaries, mission hospitals and free/faith-based clinics in developing countries and the US.
Description:
CrossLink works with medical professionals volunteering their time and skills to provide medical care for men, women and children that have little or no access to healthcare. CrossLink works to equip these volunteers with the medical resources they will need in order to provide clinics, surgery and other medical care. The focus is on international healthcare, but CrossLink also works with local free and faith-based clinics in the United States. CrossLink customizes each request based on the specific need of the requesting organization.
CrossLink International collects unexpired medical samples from local doctors and clinics, and medical supplies and equipment from hospitals in the area. The ministry is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a pharmaceutical/warehouser. Our warehouse is highly organized, and all items are catalogued in a computer data base.
History:
CrossLink International began as a mission project of an adult Sunday school class in Northern Virginia in 1993. It was incorporated as a non-profit in November of 1996, and began operations in January, 1997. Since that time, CrossLink has provided medical resources valued at more than $25 million to 118 countries and the US.
