Volunteer Opportunity Details:

On Friday, December 25 from 3-5 pm, the Arlington Interfaith Council is sponsoring its fifth annual Christmas Dinner for the homeless at Central United Methodist Church in Ballston.

Donation of Food needed:
(1) Food Donations:
3 cooked turkeys
4 canned hams
6 -8 pumpkin pies
3 large packages of instant mashed potatoes
3 12 packs of Cokes and Pepsi
canned green beans
canned sweet potatoes
cranberry sauce (jelly)
Gravy mix (bottled or in pkgs)
4 large packages of stuffing mix

(2) Monetary contributions to buy paper products and gifts for the homeless (checks made out to Arlington Interfaith Council, PO Box 1561, Arlington, VA 22205);

(3) We are also looking for groups who would contribute gloves, hats, scarfs, socks and $5.00 gift cards from McDonald's.
