Seeking non-profit Grant writer volunteer, with at least 2 years' experience with successful income generation from grants and contracts. Grant writer can document funding success with grants from federal, state, and public/private funding sources. Previous experience in nonprofit services strongly preferred. Works with team members to produce high-quality, winning funding proposals. Works independently, maintains communication with staff as needed to ensure timely, complete submission of funding proposals. Meets assigned deadlines. Volunteer applicants please submit the following documents:
- Current resume
- List of funding proposals submitted during the past three years, including funder/funding agency, amount requested, and amount awarded.
Must be an independent, self-starter, who can work from home or office plus attend meetings as required with staff, sponsor prospects, etc. NOTE: Important - please respond only if you are comfortable working in a start-up environment (i.e. rolling your sleeves up and digging in).
