Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This is an opportunity to help your local library keep its shelves in good order. Your assistance will provide the library staff with more time to help assist patrons find materials and answer any questions that the patron may have. You will learn new skills while providing the library with a much-need service. You will also have the opportunity to become acquainted with the library collection and just spend some quiet time productively.

• Ability to arrange items in numerical and alphabetical order
  
  
• Physical ability to push, bend, stretch, reach, lift and read book spines
  
  
• Aptitude for details and neatness
  
  
• Willingness to become familiar with the Dewey Decimal System
  
  
• Willingness and ability to work independently
