More than 6,000 free FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards are now available to help the people in our community lower the cost of their medicine. FamilyWize cards are primarily for people with no health insurance or prescription coverage. However, they can be used by everyone in our community that needs to buy medicine not covered by their insurance, Medicaid or Medicare plans. People with Internet access can print a card by visiting the website at www.familywize.com as well as look up drug prices and the list of participating pharmacies. Discount cards also can be obtained many of the participating local pharmacies or by calling Arrowhead United Way 909-884-9441. Most pharmacies here and throughout the United States accept the FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards. They have no usage or age limits, income requirements or registration forms, and can be used immediately.
