The VA Loma Linda Healthcare system is seeking young men and women between 14 and 19 years old to volunteer for the summer at the medical center in Loma Linda. The youth volunteer program daily between June and August is a great way to spend the summer and to learn valuable job skills. A wide variety of assignments are available in departments through out the medical center. Reserve your space at a special orientation scheduled for Saturday, June 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the medical center auditorium at 11201 Benton Street by calling Voluntary Service at (909) 583-6011. This is not only an opportunity for valuable experience, but a way to say thank you to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country -- our military veterans.
