The American Lung Association In Maryland was established in 1919 as the Maryland Tuberculosis Association. Although the focus of the Association has changed since a cure for TB was found, we remain constant in working toward our mission - to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. Our vision is a world free from lung disease, and we fight the diseases and poisons that harm the lungs of our families and communities.

Description:
The American Lung Association of Maryland is looking for volunteers to join us in our fight for healthy lungs and clean air by working in our Hunt Valley office. Volunteers are a critical component of our organization.

We are looking for volunteers who can donate their time between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You do not need to commit to an entire day’s work – we are flexible with schedules.

Our volunteers will be primarily asked to:
• Answer phones
• Provide some administrative support to staff

Orientation and training will be provided by knowledgeable Lung Association staff. You will be provided with their own work area and necessary equipment and supplies.

From Interstate 83 use exit for Shawan Road. Turn Right onto McCormick Road. Parking Lot for Executive Plaza is the first right hand turn on McCormick. Building faces McCormick Road. We are located on the 6th floor
