The mission of Rosedale Senior Center is to welcome all senior citizens of Rosedale and neighboring communities to participate in programs, activities and services in efforts to remain healthy, active and independent members of the community.

Description:
Rosedale Senior Center offers a wide range of educational, recreational and social activities for senior citizens. Quilting, Ceramics, Watercolor, and Exercise Classes are just a few of the options offered. Many educational presentations are offered each month and include topics such as Health Education, Financial Education and Historical Presentations. A number of social events are held throughout the year and include a Luau, Octoberfest, Holiday Parties and a Crab Feast. Senior citizens can also use the center to link to a number of county resources within the Baltimore County Department of Aging.

History:
Rosedale Senior Center started in September of 1974 in the Prince of Peace Church. Later the Rosedale Senior Center became part of the Baltimore County Department of Aging. The center was moved into the Rosedale Elementary School and then later into its own home at its current location at 1208 Neighbors Ave in Rosedale.
