Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Medicare Prescription Drug Plans may change each year and open enrollment is held between November 16 and December 31. During this time Medicare beneficiaries can review, change and/or select a prescription plan to that covers their medications at the best price. Senior Health Insurance volunteers are needed to conduct on-line searches of prescription plans, compare plans and educate beneficiaries on possible financial assistance.

Volunteers will provide assistance at various locations throughout Baltimore County.

Volunteers are required to complete a one day training which will be held on September 23, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the North Point Training Center. Good computer and typing skills are needed for this opportunity. Volunteers must provide their own transportation.
