Dear Supporter and Community Members,

The Preston Mitchum, Jr. Foundation (PMJ Foundation) thanks you for your continued support of our year round programs. The PMJ Foundation is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS that has been instrumental in coordinating Holiday and Back to School Campaigns for the last seven years. The PMJ Foundation is dedicated to addressing the crippling effects of poverty and violence on at-risk youth in our society. The PMJ Foundation provides people the opportunity to give back in many tangible ways, including volunteering for the clothing and toy drives, as well as making financial contributions.

Our 9th Annual Holiday Drive is dedicated to making sure each and every family feels remembered and blessed this holiday season. We invite you to join us in making this joyous time of the year special for children and families in need by donating NEW clothes, food, toys and/or money. Campaign starts November 20- December 19, 2009. As most of you already know, this year will be even tougher on area families. The holiday season brings out the importance of family, but unfortunately many families find that they have little or no extra money to spend in making this time extra special.

With community support, the PMJ Foundation hopes to serve over 1,000 families this year. Your support is needed to make a difference. This is how you can help!

$25 dollar donations provide food, toys and clothing to a family in need.

$50 dollar donations provide food, toys and clothing to two families in need.

$100 dollar donations provide food, toys and clothing to five families in need.

If, for some reason, you cannot make a monetary contribution, please consider becoming a drop-off/collection agency for donations of new clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, gift cards, gas cards and items of interest for teens. Drop-off location will be listed on our website. www.pmjfoundation.org.

Deadline for donated items is December 19, 2009
