Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Market Place (formerly the Clothing Bank) provides a boutique-like environment for men, women, and children to shop for gently-used clothing. Volunteers sort and display donations of gently-used clothing and household items. They also act as personal shoppers on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, assisting Market Place guests to fulfill their shopping needs.

Every Wednesday, Beth volunteers in the Market Place. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with guests, helping them to coordinate outfits and to obtain those much needed clothing items, such as socks or coats. Beth stated, “People appreciate the attention and assistance I give. I enjoy the whole process from sorting to shopping! It does not feel like work at all.”
