Pre-Earth Day Activity - Volunteers Needed for Stream Clean-Up
Active Mar 23, 2007 to Apr 14, 2007
The clean up effort will consist of removing trans and debris from tributaries to and along the Patapsco River. Stream clean-ups are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. Please wear sturdy shoes, work gloves and shovels if you have them. Dress for the weather. The following are locations needing clean-up: Arbutus/Halethorpe - Herbert Run, Soapstone Branch Catonsville - Cooper's Run, Herbert Run, Miller's Run, Patapsco River, Saw Mill Branch/Pig Run Elkridge - Deep run Ellicott City - Bonnie Branch, Sucker Branch, Tiber Hudson Branch For directions to the meeting locations please contact Betsey McMillion at patapscofriend@comcast.net or call 410-480-0824. to learn more about this and other planned environmental events go to www.patapscoheritagegreenway.org . |
