CALL IN TO REGISTER FOR OUR NOVEMBER 7TH TREE PLANTING!!!

| Why: It is a wonderful opportunity to restore forest buffers directly within the Loch Raven Reservoir. On November 7th, we will be planting a total of 200 trees on one acre to continue a longer-term restoration project on a total of 10 acres within the reservoir. Enthusiastic Gunpowder Valley Conservancy volunteers have planted more than 16,000 trees in the Gunpowder Watershed since the early 1990’s and we need your help to plant even more! Who: We are looking for student and adult volunteers who care about the Earth, our watershed, and the Chesapeake Bay! Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard? Do you want to receive community service hours? Then come and join us, and make a difference for future generations! Ages 8 and up. When: We will start planting on Saturday, November 7th at 9:30 a.m. sharp to around 1 p.m., rain or shine. Volunteers should arrive by 9:15 a.m. to sign-in.
