NuPath
The mission of NuPath (formerly known as CMARC) is to provide for people with disabilities the support needed to live, work, learn, grow, and participate to their fullest potential in their community. NuPath embraces diversity, appreciates each person's uniqueness, and treats everyone with respect.
Description:
NuPath supports people with disabilities as they direct their own lives and destinies. The people we serve learn through "hands on" experiences in our various programs. We provide many programs to the individuals we serve: our vocational program provides paid work opportunities both on-site at places throughout the community and in our facility in Woburn, our behavioral services program gives people with challenging behavioral issues or clinical needs the chance to enjoy the benefits of community employment, our transportation services provide means for our individuals to get to and from their places of employment everyday, our residential programs provides homes to live in which allows our individuals to lead even more independent lives, and finally our placement program helps the individuals we serve find competitive employment in the community and provides job coaching which allows the individuals to secure, maintain, and excel at their jobs. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that the people we serve have the opportunity to reach their full potential and become vital, productive members of the larger community.
History:
NuPath was created in 1968 and since then we've helped more than 3000 people lead more independent lives. Today, we're a leading provider of programs and services for people with disabilities, serving more than 200 people every day and employing a staff of 80.
