Hospitality Homes provides short-term, no-cost housing for families of patients coming to Boston for medical treatment. Housing is provided in the private homes of our volunteer hosts. The service is open to all families, regardless of patient diagnosis or treatment facility, income level, or nationality.

Description:
We have volunteer opportunities for people who would like to host (which is a very flexible way of volunteering), donate, help with outreach, help in the office, or have creative ideas on how to get involved!

History:
Hospitality Homes was founded in 1983 as The Hospitality Program to help some of the 200,000 people that travel to Boston each year for medical treatment. Many people come not knowing anyone in the city, and not knowing where they will stay or how they will afford it. Hospitality's 110 volunteer host families have provided over 145,000 guest nights since the program's inception. Our guests enjoy a "home away from home" during what is often the most difficult time in their life.
