Hearth, committed to ending elder homelessness, is looking for one or two individuals to lead crafting activities at the Bishop Street House in Jamaica Plain. The nine ladies of Bishop Street love having visitors and they love doing arts and crafts. Share your time and talents with these friendly, enthusiastic elderly women. Bishop Street is Hearth's first home, opened 15 years ago. It's a charming Victorian house located around the corner from the Green Street T stop on the Orange Line.

Volunteers must have:

  • Crafting or artistic skills
  • Patience and a knack for teaching adults
