Description: The Development Department ensures AIDS Action has the financial resources to support a wide range of prevention, client services and advocacy programs. This team seeks interns with an interest in learning how non-profits work behind the scenes. Placements are available to participate in event planning and fundraising operations. Qualifications and Requirements: Interns should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and enjoy working as part of a team. Interns should also have an interest in HIV/AIDS and GLBT issues, welcome working in a diverse environment, and feel comfortable in a workplace where sex is openly discussed in a health context.
