Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care of Massachusetts is seeking caring individuals who are 18 or over to volunteer with our patients at home and in local nursing homes. Even one hour a week can make a tremendous difference to our patients and families. Direct patient care volunteers offer friendly visiting, emotional support, caregiver relief, and advocacy. Office volunteers are also invited to apply. Following training, volunteer matches are made with volunteers location and interest in mind (let us know if you have special interests such as sitting vigil with patients, playing music, or pet therapy). Seasons staff will train and support volunteers throughout the experience. We need Volunteers in Arlington, Concord, Boston, West Roxbury, Franklin and more. We assign volunteers close to home or work. Multiple training opportunities available – We accept applications at any time and make every effort to coordinate with potential volunteer's schedule. Visit our website at www.seasons.org where you may submit an online application. You are also invited to contact Karen (Wren) Gore, LICSW, Volunteer Coordinator at 617-454-0200 or kgore@seasons.org for more information or to schedule an interview. Thank you for your interest.
