If you're interested in making friends and giving back to your community this summer, Boston Cares has volunteer opportunities for you! Boston Cares is a flexible volunteer agency that connects individuals with volunteer opportunities throughout Greater Boston. Each month we manage more than 150 direct service volunteer projects through our Calendar program ranging from serving meals to the homeless to ushering at cultural events. We work with more than 100 non-profit agencies throughout Greater Boston so whether you're interested in homelessness & hunger relief or the arts and culture, you can find opportunities that fit in with your interests. The Boston Cares Campus Initiative program seeks to address the growing demand for service and leadership opportunities amongst young adults attending college/universities that aren't able to make long term commitments but still would like to make a difference. We provide volunteer projects reserved just for students so that they can meet students from other schools while giving back to the Greater Boston community.
Interested? Join us for a New Volunteer Orientation at our office downtown! To volunteer with Boston Cares, students must first register at www.bostoncares.org and attend an orientation. The orientation covers information such as our programs and volunteer policies. If your school is a Boston Cares partner campus, there is no registration fee. For all other students, Boston Cares offers a discounted student rate of $10. This is a one-time tax deductible donation that helps cover the costs associated with the management of our programs. For more information, please contact the Campus Initiative Coordinator at yan@bostoncares.org . Our Partner Campuses: Berklee College of Music, The Boston Conservancy, Emerson College, Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Olin College of Engineering, Simmons College, Wellesley College
