United Planet is seeking a part-time graphic design volunteer to join our international team for 6 months, beginning in February. The graphic design volunteer will have the opportunity to build a professional design portfolio and gain real-world experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage development of organizational collateral to ensure that brand style standards are maintained (posters, brochures, advertising flyers, stickers, postcards and more)
• Update brand style guide to incorporate newly developed collateral and web style standards
• Design layout for new web pages and improve design on existing pages
• Maintain United Planet’s flickr photo galleries
• Develop new style and collateral for Cultural Awareness Presentations program
• Develop special marketing campaign materials to reach new markets (older active adults, families, etc.)
• Assist with development of web & multimedia graphics
• Conceptualize new potential UP brand products (T-shirt designs, other apparel, travel gear, etc.)
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Knowledge of PowerPoint and other standard office software a plus
• Multimedia and web design experience a plus (flash, director, html)
• English fluency required
• Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
