Two volunteers are needed for 3-4 hours on a monthly basis to pack groceries for families in need. The food will be distributed both to new mothers and babies, and to isolated seniors who are clients of Jewish Family & Children's Service. Schedule of Dates Food packing takes place once per month on the following Mondays: January 11, 2010 February 8, 2010 March 8, 2010 April 12, 2010 May 10, 2010 June 14, 2010 July 12, 2010 August 9, 2010 This is a great opportunity for either an individual or a group of two people. You will truly make a difference in the lives of the recipients by performing this life-sustaining task. This food distribution is made possible by special funds through the agency-wide JF&CS Hunger & Nutrition Initiative and is coordinated by the JF&CS Family Table Food Pantry. Follow written communication for the types and amounts of foods to be packed for each family Able to lift bags of groceries and small cartons of food Comfortable working independently with instructions provided by staff Available for 3-4 hours between 10 AM-2 PM on the Mondays specified above Must pass CORI check
