Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This Newton Environmental group's Media Committee is looking for producers for public access television (NewTV). Prospective candidates can select to produce the regularly scheduled half an hour Environmental Show or some other project (such as Public Service Announcements) of their choice..
Responsibilities for the Environmental Show:
Pre-production
• Select topic in coordination with Media Committee
• Procure speaker/s
• Research subject
• Compose script (to serve as an outline for the show as well as background information for the host)
• Arrange crew schedule
• Reserve studio space
Taping
• Supervise and help with studio setup
• Coordinate all proceedings
Post-production
• Edit to required length and format needed for submission to NewTV
• Make copies on DVD’s for the GD Webmaster, guest/s, etc.

Previous television experience is helpful, but not necessary
