Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Lawyers, Law Students or Paralegals are needed to assist the long-term incarcerated men, women and youth, with legal issues, involving, human rights' violations, parole hearings, court cases, habeas Corpus, and other legal activities, deemed necessary and appropriate. New Vision Organization, Inc is involved with incarcerated individuals, nationwide, from all backgrounds, religions, ages and gender and their stories and cases all differ. However, their sentences remain mutual and each state prison facility operates, differently. Some offer therapeutic and educational programs, while others may not, or they may be limited and apply to only a certain percentage or group of individuals. Prisoners need legal representation in cases where they may be denied certain rehabilitative treatment or programs.
