Volunteer to tutor English as a Second Language an hour a week for at least nine months (vacations are allowed!). Support for tutors includes ESL/Literacy tutor-training workshops, roundtable meetings for tutors to share questions and concerns, guest speakers, a literacy collection, audiovisual materials, quarterly newsletters, and a web page at www.newtonfreelibrary.net.
