GLAD's Legal InfoLine volunteers provide information and resources to gay, lesbian, transgender and HIV+ people throughout New England regarding legal issues related to their sexual orientation, HIV status, and gender identity and expression. No prior legal experience is needed. Volunteers receive extensive training in legal issues that affect LGBT individuals and their families, and people living with HIV. The next volunteer training is May 4 & 6 (5:30-9:30pm) and May 8 (9am-5pm). Volunteers must attend all the training sessions and then commit one weekday afternoon per week from 1:30-4:30 for about 6 months.
