Help Elders Get to Doctors' Appointments Recommended agencies

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 11, 2009

Many elders can't get to medical appointments alone. Advanced age or health problems can make it difficult and stressful to access health care. Become a Medical Escort Volunteer and provide much-needed support to elders in your community. You can help elders get the care they need by lending an arm to lean on, navigating confusing hospitals, and providing the support they need.

This is a flexible opportunity, you can volunteer on your own schedule! We need volunteers with and without cars.

Contact Jacqueline Gallagher at 617-482-1510 or jgallagher@matchelder.org
