During the November and December holidays, Council of Social Concern coordinates, prepares and distributes food baskets to about 400 households in Woburn and Winchester. We need people to help with the weekday distributions.

During and following the postal food drives in late October and early May, we need help unloading food on the Saturday of the drive and help sorting food on weekdays.

Food Pantry volunteers should be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Directions:

 Council can be reached by taking Route 128 to the Route 38 exit. (Woburn Showcase Cinemas are clearly visible at this exit.) Proceed north on Route 38 (Main Street) toward Wilmington. Follow past the Stop and Shop on your left and past St. Anthony's Church on your right. Turn right at the lights onto School Street. Go 1/10 of a mile and the parking lot entrance to our 2 Merrimac Street facility will be on your left.
