Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Help out in Framingham or Newton Head Start classroom by working one-on-one or in small groups with pre-schoolers. Help them become "kindergarten ready" by reading to them, working on puzzles, playing games that help improve their cognitive and manual skills. Once a week for an hour or so (more if desired!). Training provided by Head Start. Children are 3-5 years of age, active, and very interested in caring attention. This opportunity is sponsored by: SOAR 55, Service Opportunities After Reaching 55
