New Vision Organization seeks volunteer social workers and criminal justice workers for case management, research, writing letters to and on, behalf of incarcerated men, women and youth, nationwide. In addition, NVO seeks representatives to go write letters and make phone calls to community agencies, businesses, schools, etc. to establish a contact person or persons, to network with and to refer our soon to be released individuals, for aftercare resources, such as housing, employment, education, health care and any other supportive resources, deemed necessary. Most of the work volunteers are doing for the incarcerated population can be done out of their own home and at their own pace.

NVO seeks individuals, experienced with computers, who can type, make phone calls, plan events, while we also seek others who can provide Legal and Outreach Services to the current, former and soon to be released prisoners.
