MATCH NEEDS VOLUNTEER AND WORK-STUDY TUTORS!
Our nationally-recognized weekend tutoring program is currently seeking tutors for our 10th graders who are taking the state MCAS tests in the spring. We need individual tutors to work one-on-one or one-on-two with our 10th graders, focusing on English (writing 5-paragraph essays and reading comprehension) and math (algebra, geometry, and probability); some biology needed, too, but only if you can! We can use your help if you can provide at least 4 hours a week as a work-study funded undergraduate/graduate student OR as a volunteer.
· The times we need tutors are 1:00 to 5:00 on Fridays; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. You must pick one of these slots, and you may pick two, or all three.
· You will be working with the same student all year. You must be good with kids and have the ability to tutor 10th grade level math and English.
