National Family Literacy Fun Day

The Cambridge Family Literacy Collaborative is seeking volunteers to staff activity tables, set up and clean up for our Family Fun Day, in honor of National Family Literacy Day. The festivities will be held at Cambridge City Hall between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30pm on Saturday October 30. Volunteers are needed to: pick up promised door prizes or to work one hour shifts staffing book-making, face painting, fun family math, mask making, books for bingo and other activity tables. Please specify what times you are available. Volunteers are also needed to help set up between 9:30 am and 10:30 am and to clean up from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. People of all ages have volunteered with this event in the past. The event includes entertainment, appearances by children's book characters and presentations about fun family activities. It's a great way to connect with the community of Cambridge!
