| On Saturday, October 2, 1999 the Somerville Homeless Coalition and Johnny D's will hold it's Fourth Annual 5K Road Race in Somerville, MA. Last year over 500 runners participated raising over $10,000 for the Homeless Coalition Programs. 75+ volunteers are needed to help both on race day, and during the week prior to the race. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, route spotters, time keepers, runners, food set-up and serving, advertising, leafletting, sponsorships, etc. Come help and enjoy a wonderful day with music and a free bruch at Johnny's D's after the race! Training will be on the day of the race for registration, spotters, etc. Children may volunteer if supervised by adult.
