Active Aug 1, 1999 to Aug 28, 1999
 | The Tot Trot is the world's first, and as far as we know, only, BabyJoggerrace. It's a great way for families to celebrate being fit outdoors and do agood deed at the same time! Participants run or walk with strollers over a 5K(3.1 mile) course through the Arnold Arboretum, one of Boston's loveliestpublic parks. A Kids 1K (0.6 mile) race gives older children the chance toparticipate too. Sponsors provide refreshments, prizes, balloons and specialactivities for families to enjoy before and after the race. This year's eventwill be held on Grandparents' Day, Sunday, September 12. |
Everyone's efforts contribute to the Home for Little Wanderers and the ItalianHome for Children, two local agencies serving the needs of children who'vesuffered neglect and emotional, physical or sexual abuse. Both theseorganizations need funds to continue to do the very difficult work of helpingour communities' most vulnerable kids. Last year's Tot Trot raised more than$20,000!
