The eighth annual Super Hunger Brunch, sponsored by The Greater Table Foundation, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 6th & 7th, at more than 60 participating greater-Boston restaurants.

On these two days, all participating restaurants will close their doors to the general public and open them to those that want to support the event's beneficiaries. Depending on the restaurant, brunch will cost $15, $25 or $35 per person. Every dollar spent at these sumptuous champagne brunches will be donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank, Oxfam America and Share Our Strength. Last year The Super Hunger Brunch raised $100,000 for The Food Bank and Oxfam America.

The Greater Boston Food Bank is responsible for providing each restaurant with one volunteer. Volunteer duties will include greeting the attendies, collecting money and handing out Food Bank literature. Each volunteer will receive a complimentary brunch.

 The list is long and distinguished, offering something for everyone. So choose a date, either Saturday the 6th or Sunday the 7th, and treat yourselves to brunch. It's not often that doing a good deed is quite this enjoyable.
