APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
TAKE A STAND AGAINST CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT BY VOLUNTEERING
AT AN IMPORTANT AWARENESS EVENT
APRIL 5, 2005

Support the Children's Trust Fund (CTF) by assisting with a kick-off press conference announcing April as Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 5, 2005. Volunteers will provide a supportive presence for CTF's press conference.

The Children's Trust Fund recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month, a presidentially declared observance that is celebrated every April. Child Abuse Prevention Month focuses on the importance of providing children with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can grow to their full potential as responsible adults and members of society. The aim of this observance is to encourage all members of the community--corporations, individuals, and government--to play an active role in preventing child abuse and neglect.
