Volunteers are needed to assist teens who are making the transition to independent living from foster care and/or juvenile detention. Apartment cleaning, laundry, banking and money management are among the skills all teens need to live successfully on their own. Tutors and mentors are needed as well. Staff orient all volunteers thoroughly. Background checks are required for direct contact with youth to preclude offenses which would exclude contact with teens.
