Therapeutic Horsemanship Program Walk alongside a child or adult with disabilities and assist them during their horseback riding lesson. No experience necessary, training is provided, 14 years and older. Must be able to walk for 1 hour and commit to the same class on a weekly basis for 9 weeks. Volunteers must enjoy children, start conversation easily, and are tolerant of seeing needles/blood. Volunteers will be trained on the dialysis process and what to expect while at a dialysis unit.
