Our Mission

Volunteer Central, the volunteer center for Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland, works to provide quality of life for our community and its citizens through volunteerism and civic leadership.

Since its founding in 1993, Volunteer Central has become the primary resource for recruiting, developing and organizing volunteers in the Greater Baltimore area. Through our programs, more than 20,000 people have helped strengthen hundreds of nonprofit organizations while serving our community. Year round we work with individuals, businesses and neighborhoods to build healthy, vibrant communities and improve the quality of life for Marylanders.
