Description:
The Baltimore Chapter of the PKD Foundation is a totally volunteer-run chapter that helps carry out the PKD Foundation mission. The chapter has five main areas of concentration: raising money to fund PKD research, increasing awareness of PKD, educating the public about PKD, supporting those affected by PKD and lobbying Congress for increased federal dollars to fund PKD research.

History:
The PKD Foundation was founded in 1982 and has grown since then into a non-profit charity with approximately 25 employees and 50+ volunteer chapters. The main PKD Foundation office is located in Kansas City, Missouri.
