NAMI-Metropolitan Baltimore has a position open. In partnership with Volunteer Maryland, the Volunteer Maryland Coordinator will build capacity and strengthen volunteer participation in NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore's Family-to-Family and Support Group programs. The VMC's primary focus will be on facilitating the relationship between NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore and Family-to-Family course graduates and Support Group attendees, building leadership in the organization from this group of key stakeholders.

This is an 11 month, full-time (40 hours/week) position as member of Volunteer Maryland (VM) AmeriCorps program serving with NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore. Volunteer Maryland Coordinators (VMCs) are responsible for developing and implementing a volunteer program as agreed to in the VM Service Site partnership negotiations that occurred in spring 2008. The VMC service year will begin on September 17, 2008 and conclude on August 4,2009.
