We are pleased to announce volunteer opportunities for the Special Olympics Maryland 2008 Summer Games June 6-8 at Towson University.
1,500 Volunteers are needed to keep score, distribute lunches and beverages, escort athletes to competitions and awards and many other volunteer positions. There are opportunities for everyone.
You, your family members (minimum age is 16 years old), co-workers, and friends are needed to volunteer for this very rewarding and exciting event. All registered volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and lunch.

All registered volunteers and Cheer Team members are invited to join us at the Block Party on Friday, June 6th at 4:30 before moving into the Opening Ceremony at the Towson Center.

A General Orientation session is required for all NEW volunteers. Session schedule is posted with the online registration. Volunteers should contact Janet Novak at jnovak@somd.org if they want to volunteer and are unable to attend one of the scheduled sessions.
