TOPS - Franklin Elementary

TOPS (Tutor Outreach to Provo Schools) is a program that allows BYU students to tutor in schools in the Provo School District. Volunteers are committed to volunteer once a week for 10 – 11 weeks beginning the third week of the fall and winter semester.

Volunteer once a week in a variety of subjects and after school programs.

Description:
Volunteers with TOPS sign up to tutor at a specific school within the Provo School District at a specific time. Volunteers report weekly to their assignments and tutor students under the direction of TOPS Site Coordinators and teachers.

Volunteers must be BYU students to participate in this Center for Service and Learning program. Volunteers must attend an orientation and commit to participating for the duration of the program.

Contact TOPS early in the semester to become involved.

Commitment: 10-11 weeks, 1-3 hours per week (depending).
