Healing

Motto: Embracing wellness, Empowering Children of God
Vision: Those serving and those being served will gain a mutual understanding that mental illness doesn't make them different. By providing sincere friendships, volunteers will naturally provide an environment where those they are serving can empower themselves to become competent, functional, independent members of society.

Description:
The Healing program seeks to match volunteers with community members who are struggling with their mental health. Volunteers will work under the supervision of agencies in the community, working with all age groups to help them develop social and daily living skills. They will realize that their efforts are a great influence in helping those they serve to become competent and feel confident in the workplace, marketplace, and in social settings.
