Organization Details:
The Parent-Link Center
Mission To Foster empowerment for the everyday parent and promote unity within the common family
Description:
The Parent-Link Center aims to embody grace in that parents will feel that they are able to face the trials of parenting with greater ability and confidence. We give opportunities for parents to meet other parents, and children to meet other children in a casual setting. We provide a place where parents can come to improve themselves in their roles without feeling criticized. The Parent-Link Center is an information resource through classes and materials which are meant to educate on the particular marriage, family, child development and parenting issues families are facing. We work to encourage mindful, caring, deliberate, child rearing behaviors so that families will cultivate joy, unity, and a sense of achieving potential. We endeavor to help parents feel successful and that they are not alone in their trials. We accomplish this by creating a network of support among families facing similar situations and offer grandparent mentors to mothers with infants. We desire to help every parent and every family to find excitement in parenting and family life. Our aim is to help children have fun whether tended by their parents or volunteers. Our facility is established in such a way that parents can feel comfortable about the well-being of their children while they receive parenting resources. We encourage those we assist to work what is most important- namely the family, into the family’s routine.
