As of January 2005 the Volunteer Center of Mid-Michigan became the Capital Area United Way Volunteer Center.  The Volunteer Center serves the community in many ways including linking volunteers with service opportunities, linking nonprofit agencies with volunteers, recognizing local volunteers, holding annual service days such as Make a Difference and Days of Caring and providing volunteer management training opportunities to nonprofits who utilize volunteers.

The Capital Area United Way Volunteer Center is simply a proud host for this website.  It is a project for the community by the community.
