Ingham Regional Medical Center's mission is: To improve the health and well-being of the people of the mid-Michigan community. Our Volunteer Services mission statement is: To enhance the quality of Ingham Regional Medical Center by providing a personal, positive, effective and rewarding volunteer services program which meets the needs of patients, their families, volunteers, staff and physicians.
Description:
Ingham Regional Medical Center was created by the merger of Ingham Medical Center and Lansing General Hospital, and is a unified acute care, two-campus health care system, with 389 licensed beds. As early as 1913, Ingham Regional Medical Center has been changing lives of generations of area residents, whether through moment-to-moment, life-saving emergency medical treatment, or through any of its dozens of clinical firsts -- all a testament to our long-standing commitment to "high-tech, high-touch" health care. Among the nation's leaders on the clinical front, IRMC attracts top-notch physicians and other health care practitioners whose experience and expertise are second-to-none. Likewise, our employees also set the bar for outcome-based, patient-focused healthcare. Rounding out this region's most dynamic health care organization are members of our Volunteer Services Program.
